The Friends of BO is an organization dedicated to supporting the Coaches vs. Cancer in their fight against cancer.  Jim Boyle was a prominent figure in the coaching community that lost his battle with cancer too early.  During Bo’s fight with cancer he was adamant about helping Coaches vs. Cancer in any way that he could.  Unfortunately, Bo lost his battle, but we intend to honor his wishes and partner with the Coaches vs. Cancer and do our part.  We have made a commitment to Coaches vs. Cancer, and specifically Hope Lodge.  Our goal is to assist Coaches vs. Cancer in funding the creation of the first Hope Lodge in Philadelphia.  Hope Lodge is a “home away from home” that will provide a place to stay, free of charge, to patients coming from out of the area for treatment.  Hope Lodge offers the warmth and security of home in a setting where the love and encouragement of others enlighten and inspire the guests.  At Hope Lodge, guests rally around each other, building life-affirming connections and lifetime friendships. Cancer has affected each and every one of us – so, thank you for joining the Friends of BO and Coaches vs. Cancer in this fight.
